Market Strategy, Artisan Craft, and a Life of Service
Welcome to Billybayne.com. This is a digital journal documenting a life built on intentionality—balancing the analytical world of real estate and investing with the tactile joy of the kitchen, the soul of the pottery studio, and a lifelong commitment to faith and community.
What You’ll Find Here:
The Daily Bake & Culinary Lab: My days typically start at the counter. Whether it’s 72-hour sourdough or a big batch of Bolognese for a neighborhood welcome dinner, I believe food is the ultimate tool for gathering and building family and community.
The Artisan Studio: I create "functional art" designed for the home. Producing only 5–10 pieces a week, my ceramics (like Olive Oil Cruets and tajines) are crafted to be used, shared, and passed down.
Economic Ruminations: Drawing from my career in real estate portfolio management, I share macro-economic thoughts with a micro-focus on "home." I believe financial stewardship and temporal self-reliance are key pillars of a stable life.
Faith & Fellowship: My life is grounded in my faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. From weekend service projects to helping with the senior dinner, you’ll find ruminations on how the gospel shapes my approach to work, art, and neighborly love.
